I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based here in Tampa, Florida, and I bring over 30 years of experience in the field of mental health to the work I do with clients. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals from diverse backgrounds as they navigate some of life’s most challenging moments. My passion lies in supporting people who are dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, chronic stress, and a wide range of emotional difficulties.
I believe that everyone has the capacity to grow, heal, and lead a fulfilling life—sometimes we just need the right support and guidance to get there. My role as your therapist is not to “fix” you, but to collaborate with you as you move through difficult experiences, gain insight into your patterns, and discover healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and relating to yourself and others.

My Approach
My therapeutic approach is integrative, meaning I draw from a variety of evidence-based models depending on what best fits your needs. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all method—each client is unique, and so your treatment plan will be, too. Some of the approaches I incorporate include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, psychodynamic exploration, and trauma-informed care.
I work collaboratively with clients, always aiming to create a respectful and empathetic environment. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you gain clarity, access your strengths, and make meaningful changes at your own pace.
Culturally Sensitive Counseling for the Hispanic Community
My focus is on the Hispanic clientele as, in an environment which is sensitive to their culture and own language, they will be able to work on their personal goals. I’m especially committed to providing culturally competent care to the Hispanic community, for Spanish-speaking individuals and families. I understand that cultural values, language, and life experiences shape the way we view mental health and seek help.
For many Hispanic clients, therapy can be an unfamiliar or even stigmatized experience. I strive to create a welcoming space where you can express yourself in your native language and feel understood—not just linguistically, but culturally. My practice honors your identity, values, and family background while helping you move toward personal healing and growth.
